Doors, Frames & Hardware
SURV's doors, frames and hardware division specializes in supplying commercial metal doors, architectural wood doors and contract hardware to schools, municipalities, hospitals, government entities and commercial customers alike. SURV has an on-site custom fabrication shop whereby we manufacture custom hollow metal doors and frames to address our customer's specific needs.
SURV also has a full-time staff of locksmith technicians that are trained in the installation and servicing of panic hardware, Wi-Fi locks, PoE (power over ethernet) locks, low energy operators, commercial door hardware, electrified hardware, deadbolts and door closers.
To facilitate our promise of delivering the most comprehensive solutions to our clients, we have forged relationships with a number of leading door hardware brands and manufacturers.
To further service our customers and to assure compliance with MA law, SURV offers inspectional and certification services as required by the newest edition of the MA building code pertaining to fire door inspections. Specifically, Chapter 5.2.1 of the MA building code, "Care and Maintenance," states, "fire door assemblies shall be inspected and tested not less than annually, and a written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for inspection by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)."
Accordingly, please contact your SURV account representative to arrange a site survey and certification of your fire doors. Our highly trained lock technicians and fire door inspectors are available to service customer locations though out New England.
