April 14, 2008 - SURV is pleased to announce that the Software House iSTAR Pro rack-mount access control product, which utilizes SURV's patent-pending raXess design-technology, has won the Security Industry Association's (SIA) 2008 NPS Innovation Award for excellence in access control product design. This year's competition was held at the ISC West show in Las Vegas, where more than 100 new products and technologies were judged at the annual awards program, now in its 30th year. Overseeing the judging and evaluating the manufacturer product presentations was a panel of 19 industry professionals all of whom represented various segments of the security industry.
