Account Executive – Inside Sales (Wilmington, MA office).

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE
In the capacity of an Account Manager (AM), you will be working primarily with a Sr. Account Executive in his/her efforts to bring in new leads and grow the book of business. You will assess client locations, develop technical solutions for their site, and design and engineer that solution. In addition, the AM will work with the SAE to write, price and assemble proposal packages for our clients and then work through the process of delivery and implementation of those projects with our Operations staff.
We are looking for a dynamic inside sales executive that can provide both vision and leadership within a business development setting and that can execute upon set revenue objectives. The role of the AM is to support/create revenue opportunities by delivering superior account management.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS / OBJECTIVES

Create sales proposals (with input from Sr. Account Executive) in enterprise-wide software system

Maintain opportunity/prospect database and provide detailed information on work in progress

Serve as primary sales contact for existing clients

Work with CAD and installation departments to create solution design

Follow up with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction and to identify up-sell opportunities

Writing and scoping of work that includes the completion of all internally generated forms (door work-ups, job spreadsheets etc.) and then facilitated thru the use of enterprise software package

Job coordination and day-today account management for your portfolio of clients

Working with consultants, engineers, architects and construction managers to implement an integrated security solution as part of the overall architectural design of the building

Interface with all staff personnel as required to produce proposal package that is compliant with internal proposal guidelines

Compliance with any bid submittal process

Attendance at all walk-through's, system commissioning and follow-up activities related to the project

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all equipment sold by the company
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
It is preferred that candidates have 2+ years experience of consultative sales, account management, or large customer account management. The ideal candidate will have worked in the security integration industry previously (not required). The ideal candidate should have high integrity, humility and a desire to work in a leading sales and service organization. Experience in supporting complex and technical sales deals is preferred. Candidate must have strong excel, word and PC skills and have excellent interpersonal skills as well as organizational skills. Candidate must be able to handle a fast paced environment, must be a team player and must be detail-oriented.
A BA or BS degree is preferred.

Senior /Jr. Technician
LOCATION: Wilmington, MA & Westbrook, ME
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Installation Manager
FULL-TIME / HOURLY: Hourly
JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE
The senior technician is responsible for providing installation and repair services- i.e. installing and servicing electronic security devices such as: access control devices, CCTV equipment, alarm panels, intercoms, IP addressable cameras, digital video records (DVRs), matrix switches and servers etc. to our clients. The technician is responsible for completing the assigned work within an allotted time frame and to an expected standard of quality expected by SURV. On each job, the senior tech on the job maintains overall responsibility for the crew/client and the overall workmanship/outcome of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Junior technician must have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on technical experience
- A Senior technician must have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on technical experience
- Must be skilled with the use of hand/power tools
- Must have a proven track record of attention to detail
- Must have exceptional organization skills
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Must be fully committed to customer satisfaction.
- Must possess a valid MA or NH driver's license (required)
- Massachusetts Low Voltage Class-D license (required)
- Must be knowledgeable in basic computer operations and home access to a pc and internet is a requirement
- Prior experience with electronic security and CCTV (major plus)
- Computer programming and networking knowledge (major plus)
